CSCHL Roundup: Ohio moves into first place after sweep of Robert Morris-Illinois

As the American Collegiate Hockey Association regular season winds down, we'll provide weekly updates of the Central States Collegiate Hockey League.

The CSCHL has a new leader after last weekend's two series, both of which ended in sweeps.

Ohio swept Robert Morris-Illinois despite losing forward Gianni Evangelisti, its leading point-scorer, and defenseman Shawn Baird to suspension. The pair were absent in Friday's game, but the Bobcats still won 2-1.

Ohio sealed the sweep with a 4-2 win on Saturday and moved into first place over Lindenwood, who did not play any games last weekend.

Illinois swept Iowa State with a 4-2 win on Friday and 3-2 overtime win on Saturday.
