Want to be part of Graduate Student Senate? Here’s the timeline to run for next year’s body

Graduate students have until 5 p.m. Friday to run for next year’s Ohio University Graduate Student Senate.

Eric Cooper, the chairman of the GSS Board of Elections, announced in an email to students the deadlines to apply for next year’s GSS. Students can access the application by logging onto Orgsync using their student account information. The application opened March 5 at 5 p.m.

To be eligible for a GSS position, graduate students must be a full- or part-time student at OU’s Athens campus. Students must also be in an official graduate degree program. If applying for a senator position, students must be enrolled in the college they’re applying to represent.

Voting for those positions will take place April 12. For more deadlines, click through the interactive below.
