Good morning,

Have you been on the fence in regard to adopting a puppy? Well, today is the day — it’s National Puppy Day!

This international holiday celebrates the love and happiness man’s best friend brings to our lives. This holiday urges people to adopt orphaned puppies and brings awareness to the treatment of them in puppy mills.

National Puppy Day was established in 2006 by celebrity pet & home lifestyle expert and author Colleen Paige. Paige also created National Dog Day and National Cat Day.
