About 77 projects are happening on Ohio University’s campus, and students can expect to see some changes when they arrive back to school for Fall Semester.
With approximately $82.7 million in construction projects.

Shively Court, infamous for their "Grab 'n go" is located just off Morton Hill.
The most visible project on campus is the construction of the Sook Academic Success Center located near Peden Stadium, which was a $7 million project, according to Steve Mack, interim executive director of Facilities Management.
“We’ll be finishing that up this summer, right in time for the first football game,” he said.
Also, Alden Library will see some new changes such as the Collaboration Lab, which is an area inside the library where students can “make, collaborate and incubate ideas,” Mack said.
Bathrooms in Pickering and Bryan halls will be updated as well. Together these renovations will cost about $3.5 million, Mack said.
Schoonover Center will also received a podcasting room in its lobby, which cost about $30,000. It will be ready by the start of the new academic year.
“The project was to install some storefront frames, glass walls, double doors, furniture (and) equipment,” Mack said. “That’s really to showcase the prominence that the college is putting on these conversations, particularly because that is such a central area to that particular college, at the entryway to Schoonover.”
