The Browns fired its head coach Hue Jackson on Monday. (via @CBSSports on Twitter)

The Browns fired Hue Jackson — and of course people on Twitter had stuff to say

Hue Jackson is no longer the head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns front office finally fired Jackson after he compiled a ghastly record of 3-36-1 over the past two and half seasons, according to ESPN

The Browns boast one of the most miserable fan bases in pro sports, so it’s no surprise that Twitter exploded once news of Jackson’s firing broke. Here are some of the best reactions:

The Browns are known for bad coaching, but Jackson’s tenure was especially horrendous.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have not been kind to the Browns’ head coaches.

Some fans think Jackson’s firing was long overdue.

Here are some of the “highlights” of Jackson’s coaching career with the Browns.

One Cleveland fan compared the firing of Hue Jackson to a scene from Star Wars - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Jackson is the second Cleveland head coach to be fired in the past three days. On Saturday, the Cavaliers fired Tyronn Lue.

At least there’s one stable professional sports franchise in Cleveland.
