Texting in Class: The crazy that will be the new season of 'Riverdale'

If you haven’t seen the first two seasons and the first episode of season three then this may spoil some things for you. Other than that I say that this season of Riverdale is about to be the craziest season yet. For the ones that have seen episode one of season three, you know what I’m talking about.

I’m super excited for this season because I’ve never actually watched Riverdale while it was on TV, I watched all of my episodes on Netflix after they came out. I kinda think this is the best way though cause then you can watch them all at once and not have to wait a week for the next episode. But, I’m too excited this time to wait. I’ve had this day written in my calendar since they released the start date for the new season and I’ve been counting down the days till it was finally here. Now I can’t wait till every Wednesday to watch what happens next.

During season one it definitely didn’t take them any time at all to turn it into a new “who done it?” series but I think they did it in a way unlike any of the other teen TV series like Pretty Little Liars or Teen Wolf . After watching one episode I was hooked and kept going back for more. There was so many things going on yet it was also easy to follow, but still had an element of mystery. The whole time while they were trying to figure out who killed Jason I thought I knew but I was always proven wrong. The show kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole season and by the end when they revealed that Jason and Cheryl’s dad was the murderer, I was shook. I never saw it coming and was genuinely shocked and still have so many questions.

Once I found out that season two was on Netflix I knew I had to watch it to see if it lived up to season one. And guess what, it did. Season two was so crazy with everything going on with the black hood and Betty’s brother that we later found out wasn’t actually her brother but some guy pretending to be her brother. Don’t forget Veronica’s dad coming into the show now and Cheryl’s whole love story of a past girl interest and Jughead joining the serpents. There were so many things going on but it all went together and made it so you just couldn’t stop watching.

Now that season three is out I don’t know what to think. I think I speak for everyone though when I say ‘what the heck happened in the first episode?’ There’s so many questions to ask, for one, why did Archie just go to jail when his mom was trying to find another way to get him out? Two, what is happening with Dilton and the game that he’s been sucked into, and is he still alive? Three, what’s going to happen with the serpents and the ghoulies now? And lastly, what happened to Betty at the end of the episode? I guess we’ll have to wait and see but I think this is about to be the most epic season yet.
