Volleyball: Everything you need to know for Ohio's final two matches of the regular season

Ohio will finish its regular season this weekend at home against Bowling Green on Friday and Miami on Saturday. The Bobcats are currently the seventh seed in the Mid-American Conference Tournament, but they could attain a higher seed if they win one match this weekend.

Friday

vs. Bowling Green

Match time: 7 p.m.

Ohio record: 12-15, 7-7 MAC

Bowling Green record: 17-10, 11-3 MAC

Previous matchup: The Falcons swept the Bobcats 3-0 on Oct. 6 in Bowling Green.

Saturday

vs. Miami

Match time: 6 p.m.

Miami record: 19-7, 11-3 MAC

Previous matchup: The RedHawks defeated the Bobcats in five sets on Oct. 5 in Oxford.

Notes

-Bowling Green swept Miami and Northern Illinois, who both previously defeated Ohio, in its two matches last weekend.

-Bowling Green’s libero, Kallie Seimet, leads the nation in digs per set (6.67). She recorded 20 digs in the previous match against Ohio.

-Miami had a nine-match winning streak that was snapped last weekend with a loss to Bowling Green and a five-match defeat from Western Michigan, who Ohio previously swept.
