The Athens Police Department received a report of rape on Saturday.
OhioHealth O’Bleness staff called APD to pick up a SANE kit from the reported rape. At this time, the victim declined to speak to police officers and wants to remain anonymous.
The Ohio University Police Department and APD have received 14 reports of sexual assault since Jan. 23.
APD has received nine reports — five rape reports, two sexual imposition reports, one gross sexual imposition report and one sexual assault report. OUPD has received five reports — four rape reports and one sexual battery report.
