10 celebrity power couples who prove that love isn’t dead

After Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split, people everywhere have been mourning the break-up of the couple’s 10-year relationship. The couple separated on Aug. 10 after getting married in December. Fear not, hopeless romantics; love is not dead. Here are 10 celebrity power couples that have stood the test of time and are killing the (love) game:

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

The That ’70s Show stars married in 2015 and have two kids together, Wyatt and Dimitri. In June, Kutcher posted a video on Instagram clapping back at tabloid rumors that alluded to their divorce:

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski

In 2008, the couple started dating, and they married in 2010. Nowadays, they have two daughters, Hazel and Violet. Krasinski has said that because of his role in The Office, he met Blunt.

“It's a little bit of an existential crisis after a while, because I wouldn't have met my wife [Emily Blunt], I wouldn't have been out in L.A.," Krasinski said in a 2012 interview. "Truly, when I say the show has given me everything, it's given me everything.”

The two actors recently starred as husband and wife in A Quiet Place, which Krasinski wrote, directed and produced.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban

The couple met at a Los Angeles event in 2005 and married a year later. Kidman and Urban have two daughters together, Sunday and Faith. Kidman also has her daughter, Isabella, and her son, Conner, from her marriage with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Urban and Kidman’s 13-year marriage is an impressive feat in the world of Hollywood lovebirds.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

After meeting on the set of Green Lantern in 2010, the couple got married in 2012. The couple have two daughters, James and Inez, and they currently have baby number three on the way.

The couple are hilarious with their constant jokes and antics with each other. Recently, to celebrate Lively’s 32nd birthday, Reynolds celebrated via Instagram, and the post represents their relationship so perfectly.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen

The Twitter queen and the pop artist first met in 2007, when Teigen starred in Legend’s music video for his song “Stereo.” The couple got married in 2013 in Italy, and they currently have two children, Luna and Miles. Back in 2013, Legend released “All of Me,” which illustrated their love for each other and captured the hearts of the world.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith

Pinkett met Smith in 1994 on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. They started dating in 1995 and had a small wedding in 1997. Pinkett and Smith have two children together, Jaden and Willow, and the Smith family are truly family goals.

“I knew that I was not built for conventional marriage,” Pinkett Smith said via The Guardian. “Even the word ‘wife’: it’s a golden cage, swallow the key. Even before I was married, I was like, ‘That’ll kill me.’ And it damn near did! So why wouldn’t you share what you’ve been through, when you see that other people are out there, trying to figure this crap out? We decided to make it public because it’s part of the healing. I feel like if we don’t have real understanding about it, I don’t know if interpersonal relationships are possible.”

David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris

Though they first appeared as an official couple at the 2007 Emmy Awards, Harris told Ellen that he and Burtka started their relationship in 2004. In 2010, Harris announced that he and Burtka were expecting twins via a surrogate mother and a few months later, Gideon and Harper were born.

After the Marriage Equality Act passed in New York in 2011, the couple announced their engagement on Twitter. In fact, they said they proposed to each other five years ago but kept it a secret until same-sex marriage was legal. Nonetheless, in 2014, the men got married in Italy, and Pamela Fryman, director of How I Met Your Mother, officiated the wedding and Elton John sang at the reception.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

This is an iconic couple that needs no introduction. DeGeneres and de Rossi started dating in 2004 and then married in 2008 at their Beverly Hills home. In 2010, de Rossi filed a petition to legally change her name to Portia James DeGeneres and she became a U.S. citizen in 2011. The women have adopted multiple rescue animals, and DeGeneres has made it a point to profess her love for her wife on The Ellen Show.

David and Victoria Beckham

Posh Spice and the Bend It Like Beckham inspiration are quite the power couple. They met in 1997 and got married in 1999. Having gone through both the ups and downs of any relationship, the Beckhams and their four kids, Brooklyn, Romeo, Harper and Cruz, are right next to the Smiths on being family goals.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes

Two of Hollywood’s heartthrobs, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes started dating in 2011 while filming The Place Beyond the Pines. The couple has two children and keep a private life, but that’s not always a bad thing.
