Athens Football: Bulldogs look to continue TVC-Ohio dominance against River Valley

A 34-18 win over Wellston last week gave Athens a huge boost in its quest to win the Tri-Valley Conference. 

Now sitting in first place in the TVC-Ohio, the Bulldogs look to carry the momentum into this week’s matchup against yet another conference opponent -- River Valley. 

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday at River Valley High School.

970 WATH will have a radio broadcast. 

News and Notes: 

-Athens (4-4, 4-0 TVC-Ohio) looks to stay undefeated in conference play. River Valley (1-7, 1-4 TVC-Ohio) is currently in second to last place in the conference. 

-The Bulldogs have maintained a high scoring offense this season, averaging 31 points per game. They look to keep it up against a Raiders team that has been shut out with zero points over the past three games.
