New viral app will reveal your celebrity look alike; the NEDA walk will take place Saturday

Today is Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 Here’s what you need to know:

Good morning,

Interested in seeing who your celebrity look alike is? The viral app, Gradient Photo Editor, may have an answer for you.

Social media has been flooded with user results that transform personal photos into celebrity look-alikes based on facial similarity. Rated as the no. 1 photo and video app on the App Store, Gradient is gaining popularity quickly and is marketed to anyone over the age of thirteen.

But just how user friendly is the app? Gradient is currently owned by an unknown developer called Ticket To The Moon. As of Thursday, the app released a public terms and conditions document that claims “Gradient does not claim ownership of Your Content that you upload or or stylize through the service.”
