The Bobcats return home for the last time in 2019 after going 1-1 at the Daytona Beach Invitational. Ohio will be playing IUPUI for the second season in a row. The Bobcats won last year 73-66.

Here’s everything you need to know before Ohio’s game against IUPUI:

Game Information:

How to Listen: Ohio IMG Sports Network

Scouting the Jaguars

IUPUI is currently on a two-game win streak after beating St. John’s and Elon at home. The Jaguars have played a tough nonconference schedule so far, with losses to No. 21 Miami and Butler, who Ohio also lost to this season.

Through seven games, IUPUI’s best player has been forward Macee Williams, who is averaging 13.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Williams also gets to the free throw line more than anyone else on her team, shooting 80.6% from the line.

Things to watch from Ohio

Ohio is looking to bounce back after a poor shooting performance against Butler in Daytona Beach. The Bobcats shot just under 33% as a team against the Bulldogs. Amani Burke was the only player who reached double-digit points, with 30. The rest of the team combined for just 25 points.

Ohio will look to its next two leading scorers, Erica Johnson and Cece Hooks, to regain a more balanced offense against the Jaguars.
