Today is Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020. Here’s what you need to know:
Are you thinking about adopting a dog? Well, Coors Light is here to help.
Starting Feb. 4 and going until Feb. 21, the beer company will be giving $100 to the first 1,000 people for adoption reimbursement. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Coors wants to help people during cuffing season with a “fur-ever friend.”
“Cuffing Season is a major cultural trend and poses tension for our younger drinkers, as they navigate the stress of finding someone to spend the cold months with," Chelsea Parker, marketing manager at Molson Coors, said via a press release. "With almost half of millennials planning to stay in on Valentine's Day, we wanted to help empower people to savor the day with Coors Light and a dog by their side.
People should text COORS4k9 and a picture of their adoption receipt to 28130 to receive their reimbursement. To be eligible, the pet must be adopted within the February timeframe, as well.
