It’s been a long time coming, but Ohio basketball is back in The Convo.

When Ohio (11-6, 7-4 Mid-American Conference) battles Akron on Tuesday at 2 p.m., it’ll be the first time Ohio’s played since Feb.2. Due to COVID-19 tracing issues, the Bobcats had to postpone four consecutive games and still won’t be full-strength when the Zips come to town.

Opponent: Akron (14-4, 12-3 MAC)

Time: 2 p.m.

Place: The Convo (Athens, Ohio)

How to watch: ESPN3

How to listen: TuneIn

Head Coach: John Groce (Fourth season, 69-45)

Probable starters

Akron leads the all-time series 45-40 and has had the Bobcats’ number as of late, winning the last three meetings. Ohio was blown out by the Zips the last time the two teams faced. The 90-70 loss to Akron was one of Ohio’s worst of the season.
