Softball: Ohio prepares for weekend series at Kent State

For the first time since mid-March, the Bobcats are going on a roadtrip. Ohio (9-8, 5-3 Mid-American Conference) will spend Easter weekend in Kent facing the Golden Flashes in a four-game series. After a split series against Western Michigan last weekend, Ohio has a chance to find a rhythm in the MAC and get back on another win streak.

The Bobcats and the Golden Flashes last played against each other on April 10, 2019. Kent State squeaked out a 1-0 victory over Ohio and won the season series 2-1 in 2019. The two had originally planned to face off again in a doubleheader on April 11, 2020, but the series was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
