Deputies responded to State Route 691, in Nelsonville, in response to a report of a suspicious man sitting on the guard rail, according to the Athens County Sheriff’s Office. When deputies arrived and spoke with the man, he said he was fine and waiting for his ride.

Deputies returned to patrol.
