Soccer: Ohio prepares for rematch with Kent State in Mid-American Conference Tournament semifinals

Ohio (11-4-3) enters its first contest of the Mid-American Conference Tournament with a rematch against Kent State on Thursday.

Opponent: Kent State (12-4-3)

Venue: Cochrane Stadium (Bowling Green)

Time: 7 p.m.

- Kent State and Ohio ended their previous match in a scoreless draw after two overtimes.

- Kent State downed Toledo 4-2 to advance to the semifinals of the MAC Tournament.

- The Golden Flashes lead the MAC in goals scored with 41.

Player to watch: Redshirt senior Karly Hellstrom had one goal and one assist to lift Kent State above Toledo.

- Ohio has had a week to prepare for this matchup, getting a bye in the first round of the MAC Tournament.
