- Florida A&M is 0-3 and has lost all three games by 25 points or more. They have played a tough nonconference schedule so far with games against Troy, Tulsa and Memphis.
- The Rattlers were picked to finish 11th in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. This is their first season in the SWAC after moving from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in July 2021. They made the move after opting out of the 2020-21 MEAC women’s basketball season.
Series History
This will be the second-ever meeting between Ohio and Florida A&M. The first came back in 1997, when Ohio came away with a 77-76 victory at the 1997 Duke Tournament.
