Here’s what your favorite Thanksgiving dessert says about you

With Thanksgiving around the corner, it’s time to finalize your Thanksgiving menu. Everyone has a staple dessert prepared for their Thanksgiving table; it may be a family recipe or something that just tastes delicious.

No matter what it is, the dessert can say a lot about you and your personality. Whether it is pie or a pumpkin roll, here's what your favorite dessert says about you:

Pumpkin pie

If you like pumpkin pie, you’re the mom of the friend group, no question about it. Your bag is filled with snacks, pens and napkins. You live for sweaters, flannels, Ugg boots and leggings and you probably have a lot of fall-related candles. Most likely, you substitute water for chaider from Donkey Coffee every day. Your favorite holiday has to be Thanksgiving, and you’d probably host a Friendsgiving, too.

You go all out for your favorite holiday and make it the best for everyone involved.

Apple pie

Apple pie is as American as it can get, and so are you. You love your family’s traditions and all of the fun that comes with the holidays. You look forward to dessert and consider skipping the main feast altogether.

Apple pie is a crowd pleaser and you align with that trait as well. You try to stick with what you know, so you are not too adventurous, but everyone loves to have you around because of how likable you are. Everyone needs the apple pie to glue together the feast.

Snickerdoodles

If you like snickerdoodles for Thanksgiving, it is probably because you do not enjoy dessert as much as others. Similar to the cookie, you are warm and fuzzy and probably give off the best vibes at the holidays. You embody the spirit of fall with the flavors of cinnamon and sugar just in a couple of bites. You are not as traditional as others and may make ham as your main dish instead of turkey.

Pecan pie

Pecan pie is the dessert version of an old soul while also encapsulating the dad of the group. Just like pumpkin pie, you live for the Thanksgiving traditions of watching the parade, dog show and football games, but you probably are talking through the events with plenty of stories and jokes to tell throughout the day.

Pumpkin rolls

If you like pumpkin rolls, you are the little sibling to those who like pumpkin pie. You do not really like the custard version, so you reach for the cake version. Because you stick to the sweeter version, that is just how everyone sees you, except your older sibling. You are so annoyingly sweet just to sabotage your sibling. You copy what your sibling loves and do it better. You think that you are perfect even though you ripped everything off someone else!
