The Series

The last time the Golden Flashes came to The Convo was on Feb. 3, 2021. The Bobcats used the home court to their advantage and defeated the Golden Flashes 85-70. It was the first game the Bobcats had won against the Golden Flashes since the 2019-20 season.

In their last 10 matchups, the Bobcats are 6-4 against the Golden Flashes. Ohio holds a slight historical advantage when playing at home, however. Ohio is 8-4 against Kent State in The Convo since the 2010-11 season.

Player to Watch:

Blackford — Her keen rebounding will be crucial to Kent State against Ohio’s dismal defensive rebounding. Blackford can help Kent State create more scoring opportunities by picking up where Ohio leaves off. If Ohio leaves space open for Blackford, she will cause problems on Wednesday.
