Those who like Euphoria are sure to enjoy Sharp Objects, available for streaming on HBO (Photo provided via HBO).

Here are 5 shows similar to ‘Euphoria’

Euphoria season 2 ended on a cliffhanger last month and we have so many questions. Did Fezco (Angus Cloud) live? Will Maddy (Alexa Demie) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) make up? What ever happened between Laurie (Martha Kelly) and Rue (Zendaya)? Our questions will remain unanswered for quite some time as the show’s third season won’t likely premiere until late 2023 or early 2024. Until then, here are 5 shows to keep you occupied while we wait for season 3:

Skins

Skins is by far the most similar show to Euphoria. It’s character-driven and follows three different friend groups and them growing up, navigating life and dealing with similar problems. The show is centered on the dysfunctional relationships, substance abuse and mental illnesses the characters face, and how they manage to work through them.

The End of the F***ing World

James (Alex Lawther) is convinced he’s a psychopath and wants to kill someone, and Alyssa (Jessica Barden) is the new girl at school who wants to escape her current situation. They connect easily and Alyssa convinces James to go on a road trip with her to find her estranged father. But Alyssa doesn’t know what James’ true intentions are: he plans on killing her.

Sharp Objects

Camille Preaker (Amy Adams) is a troubled journalist that has to return to her hometown to write about a possible serial killer that’s targeting young girls in the area. Camille is confronted by the demons of her past and has to reconnect with her estranged family while the mystery unravels. She soon realizes she’s closer to the mystery than she thought.

Freaks and Geeks

Lindsay Weir (Linda Carnelli) and her brother Sam (John Francis Daley) navigate through high school and deal with the troubles of youth. Lindsay wants to transform her identity and joins a friend group of burnouts that her parents don’t approve of, while Sam and his friends struggle with trying to fit in. Freaks and Geeks shows how unfair being a teenager can be at times and the struggles of finding yourself.

Yellowjackets

A talented girls soccer team survives a plane crash and is left stranded in the wilderness with nowhere to go. They deal with the deaths of their fellow teammates and have to figure out how to survive as winter comes and they run out of food. As adults, their memories come back to haunt them and they learn that what happened in the wilderness is not over yet.
