Here's Drake’s top 10 songs of all time, ranked

Drake and 21 Savage’s most recent album, “Her Loss” has been pulling insane numbers in its first two weeks making it arguably the best rap album of 2022. In Drake’s 16th consecutive year of making music, he has had no difficulty remaining one of the most prominent artists in the industry. In honor of Drake’s (still growing) career here is a list of his 10 best songs of all time:

10. “Circo Loco”

“Circo Loco" is one of if not the best songs off of the new album “Her Loss”. At the beginning of the song Drake samples “One More Time” by Daft Punk, the addition of this sample introduces a classic and extremely catchy beat to this top-notch song.

9. “Started From the Bottom”

From the 2013 album “Nothing Was the Same”  the song “Starting From the Bottom”  is somewhat of an anthem for Drake. Drake grew up on the west end of Toronto and has stated that his family was “very poor” while growing up. Drake has built an empire for himself over the years as he continues to embody the message of “Starting From the Bottom.”

8. “God’s plan”

Coming from the album "Scorpion” once again is one of Drake’s most well-known and most liked songs “God’s Plan”. Drake has stated that although the song was originally written as a hype song it quickly became somewhat of a motivational piece, and he loves it.

7. “Nice For What”

From his 2018 album “Scorpion” this classic Drake song has one of the best intros of all time. The song was so popular that it was immediately number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 taking the place of his own song “God’s Plan” previously in the number one spot.

6. “Laugh Now Cry Later”

Dropped on Aug. 14th, 2020 the single “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk has a beat that other songs at the time just couldn’t compare to. It is without a doubt one of Drake’s most iconic songs and still hits the same two years later.

5. “Trust Issues”

Released on his 2019 album titled “Care Package,” the song “Trust Issues” showcases Drake’s vocals in a way that his others often don’t; reminding fans why Drake has continued his popularity for so long.

4. “Rich Flex”

From his most recent album, “Her Loss” the TikTok famous song “Rich Flex” includes the hit lyric “Do your thing 21” enough said.

3. “Hotline Bling”

Whether you’re Drake’s biggest fan or his biggest hater, nobody can deny that “Hotline Bling” is iconic. The song absolutely dominated the Billboard charts with its undeniably catchy tune, and accompanying music video that has accumulated over one billion views since its launch.

2. “Best I Ever Had”

The 10th track off of his 2009 album “So Far Gone;” “Best I Ever Had” is the most Drake way to write a love song. If you’re looking for a way to serenade your special someone try Drake’s “Best I Ever Had.”

1. “Passionfruit”

From his 2017 album, “More Life” his hit song “Passionfruit” makes you want to roll down your windows and stick your arms out. The song has a warm vibe to it, and much like all of Drake’s songs, it has a nice touch of charm.
