What to know since game one

  • Miami is 6-10 in the MAC, two games above Ohio. Although Ohio's chances to make the tournament are slim to none, they can play spoiler against their heated rival.
  • Miami's offense ranks 6th in the MAC while its defense ranks 11th. Ohio is going to have to take advantage of that going into tomorrow's game.
  • Miami has three players that average double figures, all of whom rank in the top 10 in the conference in Ivy Wolf, Peyton Scott and Maddi Cluse who average 16.4, 15.4 and 15.0 respectively.
  • Keys to the game:

Ohio lost its last game in the third quarter against Western Michigan, a result that has been repeated throughout the season. For Ohio to sweep Miami, it will need to play a strong four quarters. In Ohio’s best offensive games this season, it has always shared the wealth. Yaya Felder is Ohio’s, and the MAC’s, leading scorer, but a win means a full team effort from Ohio.
