What your favorite character from ‘The Bear’ says about you

Recently, FX’s newest comedy series “The Bear” has soared like a phoenix from the ashes, earning 13 Emmy Award nominations earlier this month. A series centered around a former five-star chef trying to re-open his late brother’s restaurant in downtown Chicago, the show has grabbed the attention of not only foodies, but those who can relate to the ways stress, trauma and addiction can affect one’s daily life.

Starring actors Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, there’s a character for everyone to love while watching “The Bear.” If you’re a super fan or are just getting into the series, here’s what your favorite character from “The Bear” says about you:

Carmy Berzatto

You’re extremely hard on yourself, which worries those around you from time to time. You strive for perfection, always putting in the extra work even when you’re at your wit's end. Even though you are confident and collected in a work environment, you are quiet and introspective behind closed doors. You have a problem with letting people in, but when you realize the importance of your inner circle, you end up letting go of your doubts and worries. With a tough exterior, you don’t sweat the small stuff, and you for sure don’t let anyone mess with you. If you’re anything like Carmy, you’re driven, competitive and in a state of constant stress.

Sydney Adamu

Like Carmy, you also hold yourself to a high standard. Yet, you treat others with kindness when it’s needed, especially in tense situations. You have a temper though, which can lead you to getting into arguments that hinder your relationships for long periods of time. Sometimes, you like to hold a grudge, but usually, you can’t stay mad at someone for too long. Beyond that, you treat others with respect, always helping others out when they need it. While you don’t like to show your inner emotions, you are an expert at cheering someone up with a gift, especially if it comes in the form of food.

Richard, aka “Richie,” Jerimovich

You are extremely stubborn. Much like in “The Bear,” you refuse to be left behind when it comes to working on a project or toward a specific goal. You value teamwork, but also your independence, which can create conflict depending on who you work with. Deep down, you are a softie, easily subject to opening your arms wide to your loved ones and friends. Some people may think your talkative nature is annoying, but others find you to be dedicated to your passions and the people in your life. You tend to worry about the details, but you also surround yourself with people who show you how to let go of them.

Natalie, aka “Sugar,” Berzatto

In your family, you definitely serve as the older sister, constantly worrying about your siblings and parents. You tend to hold everything in, bottling up any feelings of stress or anxiety. When these come to the surface, you easily lash out at others. However, your level-headedness is what keeps you from doing this, and you always know how to guide others through a tough situation. You are caring and collected, but you also find yourself questioning your passions and goals. You also have a love for savory foods, and food is a major focal point of how you connect with others.

Neil Fak

Some people may think you goof around too much, but you don’t mind finding the fun in even the most mundane things. You are not a very serious person, and this sometimes can lead to you getting into situations that are awkward and tense. You are super outgoing and creative, taking on challenges with ease. You like being around people and creating an inner circle that acts almost as a family would. Although you may get cast aside for your lack of maturity at times, you usually realize when to be an adult and face life’s problems.

Marcus Brooks

Unlike the characters mentioned above, you are very well aware of your surroundings and your actions. You don’t like conflict, so you tend to avoid it by all means necessary. You like to watch others, taking their expertise and advice in, especially when it comes to your hobbies. You are a big teddy bear, lifting others up through words of affirmation. You have big goals and only want to succeed, which makes others around you want to do the same. Your reflective and considerate nature is what draws others to you.
