D4vd’s incriminating timeline of music

The singer David “d4vd” Anthony Burke released the 2022 heartbreak anthem, “Romantic Homicide,“ which reached over 1.7 million streams. He quickly rose to popularity due to his heart-wrenching music and has since collaborated with multiple successful brands. This includes collaborations with the TV shows “Invincible” and “Arcane” during its second season. He also created the anthem for Fortnite.

Following the recent discovery of remains of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas inside the singer's Tesla in a Los Angeles impound lot, fans began to notice suspicious and near incriminating patterns in his music videos, TikTok reposts, unreleased songs and lyrics, including the song that famously went viral, “Romantic Homicide.”

At first, his loyal fanbase quickly stood to defend the singer. They claimed he was on tour at the time the car was found, though he later cancelled the last few shows due to the controversy surrounding the investigation, although not for being arrested as a person of interest, as many fans believe he should be.

Many people came forward with screenshots of suspicious posts containing alleged evidence from 2022 to 2024 of d4vd dating the identified underage girl via X.

Amid the discovery of the missing girl within his car, strange things started to resurface. People noticed his strange actions, the lyrics of his music and the type of reposts he would make during his time with Celeste.

From posting a video of him cleaning the shoes the victim once wore to cryptic reposts about jealousy, d4vd has been very transparent about the kind of boyfriend he would be.

“Me after hearing about her past with other boys (I’m jealous and utterly disgusted by her actions),” read one TikTok d4vd reposted.

The TikTok featured a clip from the movie American Psycho, known to be graphic with murder and psychotic tendencies.

There were patterns in his release dates that many eyes caught, one of which was Sept. 7, the missing girl's birthday. On TikTok, it was found that the record label pulled the deluxe version of d4vd’s album that was coincidentally posted on Sept. 7.

The music video of “Romantic Homicide” was also released on Sept. 7, with the discovery that the actress was nearly identical to the description of Celeste, and many users discovered the similarity in a lot of his music videos.

TikTok users immediately dove into the fray and came out with new information and connections. One TikTok user by the name of Michael went to the platform himself and shone light on the “easter eggs” regarding the case; release dates correlated with her birthday and questionable Discord messages claiming he and Celeste “got a kid otw,“ in reply to a user asking him if he was “happily married or single."

Unreleased songs, one titled “Celeste,” also made headway in the discovery of their secret and alleged relationship. The interlocking web of secrets and uninvestigated information is coming to light. More and more screenshots, videos and comments are surfacing from people who have put two and two together.

Many are still shocked by how d4vd, including all the incriminating evidence of his involvement, has not been arrested as a person of interest. Alongside this, his fame is only seeming to increase, and platforms such as Fortnite have not taken action to remove his songs or his emotes, as they’ve done with previous artists who have committed an alleged controversy.

The question also wonders as to why d4vd has kept radio silence regarding the alleged crime. During an interview with Bill Cosby’s ex-spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, via NewsNation, the question was asked, “Is d4vd’s silence helping or hurting him?”

“Our constitutional right says we have the right to remain silent,” Wyatt said. “However, we have the court of public opinion. I don’t think it’s good advice. Good direction. I think it’s damning. Acknowledging the serious allegations of this crime and the gravity shows maturity.”

However, users are not cops or detectives, so the hope of evidence is left to the proper authorities. Thoughts go out to the victim’s families, and many others pray to find justice soon.
