Women’s Basketball: What to expect against Toledo

Ohio (12-5, 6-1 Mid-American Conference) is getting set to play Toledo (8-8, 3-3 MAC) Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in The Convo for a Green Out game presented by Turn It Gold, a nonprofit supporting children with cancer.

The Bobcats are coming off a 25-point win from Wednesday against MAC rival Bowling Green and hope to extend their winning streak to three. Bella Ranallo led with 26 points, with Bailey Tabeling adding 20 points. That win was coming off the back of another great shooting performance at home against Northern Illinois.

The Rockets just lost on Tuesday to another MAC rival, Eastern Michigan, by just five points. In the loss, the Rockets led through three quarters, but gave up the lead in the fourth, with the Eagles outscoring them 26-15.

When the two played each other last season, the Rockets prevailed over the Bobcats with a score of 80-65 at Toledo. Both teams have recently beaten Northern Illinois, with Ohio winning 66-62 and Toledo winning 70-49.
