Okay, just kidding. But I should have. Congratulations to Akron for making the tournament final for three consecutive years and congratulations to Kent State for not getting blown out by the 8/9 winner this year.
I correctly picked both semifinal games, but that's not worth bragging. What have we learned all along? The West Division is terrible. The question now is two fold: 1) Who do I think will win? and 2) Who would I rather see win.
I think the Golden Flashes are just playing too well to be beat right now. Sadly, a Kent State win also means that Stainbrook (no, not the Western Michigan guy. My too-wity-for-his-own-good staff writer) will have correctly picked the tournament winner before it started. I can't have that happen.
