The Ohio Bobcats baseball team released their 2012 baseball schedule today in Joe Carbone’s last year as head coach.
The schedule includes a trip to Ohio State April 10 as well as a rematch against Big East opponent Pittsburgh in Athens on May 1.
Ohio hosts its first home game Mar. 6 in their annual battle with West Virginia State. The schedule includes a visit to Marshall as well as a game against the Thundering Herd in Athens on Mar. 20.
The Bobcats will open Mid-American Conference play when they travel to Toledo Mar. 23 to take on the Rockets.
For the third year in a row, archrival Miami comes to town before the MAC Tournament in Avon, Ohio.
Ohio baseball will be giving a preview of the 2012 season at Bob Wren Stadium tonight with the annual Green-White Fall Series at 7:30.
