The University of Texas is paying $400,000 to a former football assistant to settle a claim that a former Longhorns director of football operations sexually harassed her, according to The Washington Post.

Cleve Bryant, who served as the associate athletics director for football operations at Texas, was fired earlier this year after a female assistant said that Bryant committed sexual harassment.

Bryant was Ohio's head coach from 1985 to 1989 and compiled a record of 9-44-2. He then moved on to become an assistant at North Carolina and Texas.

Bryant attended Ohio University and played quarterback for the Bobcats. He has the seventh-most passing yards in program history and has the second-most passing touchdowns in team history with 29.
