The Ohio football team will open their season against Penn State on ESPN September 1 at noon.

The game marks the first season legendary coach Joe Paterno will not be on the sideline for the Nittany Lions since 1966. 

Along with the Penn State game, Ohio announced that their contests against Buffalo and Miami would be televised.

The Buffalo game will be on ESPN Plus and the Miami game will be shown on Sports Time Ohio. The Bobcats last five games of the season will be shown on the ESPN family of networks.
