Tate Leavitt became the sixth member of Ohio’s 2013 recruiting class Monday, According to Rivals.com.

Leavitt, a 6’7, 295-pound offensive lineman from Thornville Sheridan High School orally committed to the Bobcats instead of Akron, Toledo and Kent State, all of which offered him scholarships.

Durrell Bristol, an offensive guard from Groveport Madison High School orally committed to Ohio as well, according to Scout.com.

The 6’3, 320 pound Bristol chose Ohio instead of taking offers from Ball State, Bowling Green and Western Michigan.

Bristol is the seventh member from the 2013 class to orally commit to the Bobcats.

Troy Mangen, a tight end with strong ties to the Bobcats, has become the eighth player to orally commit to the team.

The 6’5, 225-pound Mangen, of Northmont High School, averaged 3-1/2 tackles per game as a defensive end and four yards a carry as a tight end in 2011.

Mangen’s father Mike and uncle Doug played for the Bobcats, and rank first and eighth respectively on Ohio’s career tackles list.
