With the team ready to report on Monday and camp set to begin on Tuesday, the Bobcats have announced the addition of two new players on volleyball team in Hannah Burkle and Carley Jones.

Burkle, a transfer from Eastern Kentucky University, is a middle blocker and outside hitter. She led the team in blocks (105) and was second in kills (351), as she started 31 of 32 matches during the 2011 campaign. Burkle was also named to the Ohio Valley Conference All-Newcomer Team.

Jones, a defensive specialist, played last season in high school at the Notre Dame Academy (Edgewood, Ky.), where she set the single-season record for digs with 488. She was named to the all-state team twice and was selected three times to the reagional all-tournament team.

With the addition of Burkle and Jones, Ohio has filled out its roster and is ready to begin the season. The Bobcats will participate in camp the next two weeks before they first take action on the court in the annual Green & White match on Aug. 18.
