The Bobcats are back on the course Monday in Muncie, IN, participating in the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational.

The tournament, hosted by Ball State, is 54 holes of individual play. Nine schools will bring a total of 47 golfers to compete.

Ohio is coming off a lackluster 36 holes last week at Firestone. The Bobcats

finished 17th, 44 strokes behind 1st place Ball State.

This tournament is different, however, as it is based solely on the individual scores of every participant rather than the team's total.

The Bobcats will send a roster dominated by underclassmen to compete.

Sophomores Will Stines, Drew Mlynarski and Thomas Leech along with freshman Michael Engelman take up four of the six roster spots with seniors Byron Firestone and Michael Lamping rounding out the roster.

Ohio coach Bob Cooley said earlier in the year that the underclassmen would have a large part in the outcome of the season. The first extensive glimpse of these underclassmen will happen this week.

The Mid-American Conference has numerous participants in this tournament with Toledo, Northern Illinois and Bowling Green all traveling to Muncie along with the Bobcats.

The Earl Yestingmeier Invitational, formerly the Ball State Invitational, will be

held at the Delaware Country Club.

The tournament will start Monday with a shotgun start at 9 AM.
