The Mid-American Conference released its football schedule for 2013 this afternoon and opted for more mid-week games that will be nationally televised.
The Bobcats, however, were not affected by this plan, as they received four-mid week games – the same amount they had to play last year. The mid-week games between November 5th and November 29th, which feature away games against Buffalo and Bowling Green on Tuesdays and home games against Kent State and the University Of Massachusetts on Tuesday and Friday, respectively.
All of the mid-week games will be nationally televised by either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Before Ohio heads into the month of November, they will start the season off with a game against Louisville, followed by three games at Peden Stadium against Northern Texas, Marshall University and Austin Peay.
Conference play starts after a bye-week with an away game against Akron on October 5th, followed by a home game again Central Michigan on October 12th. The Bobcats will conclude their Saturday playing schedule with games against Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, Mich., and a home game against Miami on October 26th, before heading into November.
