Former Ohio University basketball player Jerome Tillman has signed with Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo of the National Basketball League in Japan.

The National Basketball League is the top professional league in Japan.

Tillman will join fellow Bobcat DeVaughn Washington, who signed with the Kumamoto Vorters in the National Basketball League.

Tillman, was an Ohio forward from 2005-2009 and two-time first team All-Mid-American Conference player. The Beavercreek native is a graduate from Ohio University. 

This season will be Tillman’s fifth team overseas, after spending time in France, Germany, Spain and Israel.

Last season, he played for Hapoel Eilat in Israel, where he averaged 11.1 points per contest over the course of 37 games.
