Four athletes have signed letters of intent to play with Ohio men’s basketball for the 2014 season. The Bobcats inked a pair of high school seniors, as well as two junior college transfers. Ohio’s incoming recruiting class is a diverse group, with two individuals originally from outside the United States.

A breakdown of the new signees:

— Kendall Crute, who is a six-foot-three guard from North Cobb Christian High School in Georgia. He averaged 15.4 points and 3.3 assists during his junior campaign, while helping lead the team to the Georgia High School Association Regional Championships two consecutive years. Crute is ranked as the 17th best Georgia prospect in the class of 2014 according to ESPN.

— Tariq Owens is a 6-foot-9 forward from Laurel, Md. He has played for Saint Vincent Pallotti High School over the past two seasons.  Owens is a four start top-100 recruit according to Scout.com, and the seventh best player in the state of Maryland according to ESPN.

— Nehemias Morillo will once again be teammates with Ohio junior forward Maurice Ndour after the duo previously played at Monroe College. Morillo, who hails from the Dominican Republic, is a six-foot-six guard in his second season with the Mustangs. He is averaging 18 points and 4.5 rebounds through two games this season.

— Rodell Wigginton, a native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is a six-foot-six guard/forward, who just began his second season at the College of Central Florida. Last season, Wiggington’s team advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship. Through his first four games this year, he is averaging 25.8 points per game.
