For the second week in a row, an Ohio player has taken home the Mid-American Conference East's player of the week honors.

Following in the footsteps of Nick Kellogg, who earned the award last week, junior forward Maurice Ndour was named MAC East player of the week for his performances against Ohio State and Valparaiso.

In the 79-69 Bobcat loss to the Buckeyes, Ndour scored 10 points, as well as snaring nine rebounds and adding one block.

Ndour stepped up his performance in Ohio's 66-62 win against Valpo on Sunday, scoring a game-high 23 points, adding six rebounds, five blocks and four steals, as well as scoring all of Ohio's first nine points.
