Ohio senior cornerback Travis Carrie hasn’t had his fill of playing collegiately in St. Petersburg, Fla..
Carrie will participate in the 89th Annual East-West Shrine Game at Tropicana Field on Jan. 18. The contest is the longest running collegiate all-star game in the NCAA.
Tropicana Field also served as the venue for the Bobcats' Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl appearance against East Carolina in December.
Carrie received Mid-American Conference honors as a punt returner (first team) in addition to his play at cornerback (third team). He will also become the ninth player in program history to play in the contest, as former Bobcats cornerback Thad Turner was the last player to represent the program in 2010.
The game kicks off at 4 p.m. and will be aired live on the NFL Network.
