Ohio staved off a rush by Buffalo in the middle of the second half to win 83-71. The Bobcats were able to salt the game away from the free throw line late sealing their first victory since Jan. 15.
Second Half
At the first media timeout of the second half, Ohio is still on top 47-37, with 15:35 left. Six seconds later Destini Cooper received a technical foul for an apparent push on a Buffalo player. The Bobcats continued to hold a sizeable advantage at the 11:20 mark in the second half leading 53-44. At 7:48, Ohio held a three possession lead with a 63-56 advantage. Buffalo lost a pair of players at the 4:05 mark left in the game as Kristen Sharkey fouled out on a charge and Mackenzie Loesing on a technical foul which resulted in her fifth. The Bobcats capitalized holding a 68-60 lead into the final media timeout at 3:38 left in the game.

First Half
Ohio jumped out to a fast start scoring the games first points forcing a Buffalo timeout 90 seconds in. With 15:19 left in the half the Bobcats led 10-4 starting the game four of seven from the field. Buffalo closed the gap to 12-10 with 11:30 left in the first half. The Bulls kept it within arm’s length at the 7:44 minute mark as the Bobcats held a 23-18 point lead. Ohio extended its lead to eight at 3:51 as the Bobcats led 29-21. With 1:15 left in the first half Ohio continued to ride their hot shooting to a 36:24 lead.
