Former Ohio men’s basketball guard D.J. Cooper has agreed to a contract with Russian basketball club Enisey Krasnoyarsk, per his agent Mike Naiditch.

Terms of the contract have not been disclosed, but Naiditch said there is a provision that would allow Cooper to transfer to any Euroleague club before July 10.

Cooper spent the 2013-14 season in the Greek Basketball League with PAOK BC, which he led to a third place finish after averaging more than 10 points, six assists and almost two steals per game. He was named the GBL’s MVP for the first half of the season in January.

After being granted Bosnian citizenship in June, Cooper will next compete with the Bosnian national team in this summer’s FIBA Eurobasket qualifying tournament.

In his four seasons with the Bobcats, Cooper became the only player in NCAA Division I history to post at least 2,000 career points, 900 assists, 600 rebounds and 300 steals.
