The Bobcats finished their indoor season with a last place finish at the MAC Championships in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

The Bobcats ended their indoor season on Saturday at the Mid-American Conference Championships in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, with nine points, earning them a 12th-place finish. Eastern Michigan took the title with 110.75 points.

The top performers for Ohio came primarily from the track. Junior Kristin Winkel took the eighth spot in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.88 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay team of junior Tessa Weigand, sophomores Anna Michael and Peyton Adkins and freshman Kaitlyn Logan also finished in eighth at 12:28.82.

On the field, junior Erika Armstead took 16th place in the triple jump recording 10.56 meters.

Ohio’s outdoor season will start up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in three weeks at the Wake Forest Open, taking place on the weekend of March 20-21.
