Thousands gathered in uptown Athens on Saturday morning to watch and take part in the Ohio University homecoming parade. Groups and individuals of all types walked in the parade, from student organizations to Yvette McGee Brown, the first African-American woman justice on the Ohio Supreme Court and an OU alumna. Other events ranged from the “Yell Like Hell” pep rally on Thursday and pre-game tailgating.

Ohio University’s Family Weekend, formerly Parents Weekend, attracted parents, grandparents, siblings and families of all kinds to Athens to reunite with students. Events from the weekend included tie-dyeing, bingo and a dinner on College Green.
