Athens County Sheriff's Narcotics Enforcement Team confiscated an incomplete, inactive methamphetamine lab in Nelsonville tonight.
The resident of the West Franklin Street residence told deputies that he had attempted to make meth but had been unsuccessful, according to a Facebook post by Sheriff Pat Kelly.
NET officers reportedly told Kelly that the set up was unstable and could have led to a potentially catastrophic end.
The resident will be charged with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine, according to the post.
