Ohio University's annual Sibs Weekend kicks off tonight with a slew of events targeted at audiences of all ages.
A variety show, poker tournament and a performance by OU alumnus Jesty Beatz, are planned to entertain siblings visiting students, according to the university calendar. Jesty Beatz will perform with Yung Joc and Cherish on Saturday night in the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium at 8 p.m.
Students living in residence halls must register siblings with their resident assistant. Siblings can eat at dining halls this weekend for $5.50.
tRAC is working to provide alcohol-alternative events for the weekend, said tRAC public relations coordinator Matthew Jeffries. A full list of sibling-friendly events is listed on the OU calendar, at www.ohio.edu/familyweekends/sibs/.
