Nelsonville-York will have to focus on its own improvements and not lament its loss to Meigs.
Coach Jay Kline reflected on his team's five- point loss the Marauders.
It was a well-played game by both teams; we did not make plays late in the game
and that was the difference Kline said.
Kline said he knows what Athens is going to do on Friday, but he's focusing on his own team right now.
We know a little bit of what they do but we need to improve our half court execution
Kline said.
Kline said his team has to play good man-to-man defense, get out on the shooters and limit them to one shot because of the way Athens shoots from the perimeter.
Perceptions of the TVC-Ohio
The Meigs Marauders currently lead the conference with a 4-1 record, but Kline said he thinks any team could win the conference.
It's an even race
anyone can beat anyone
Kline said. It is going to be a wild finish.
The Buckeyes play most of their conference games toward the end of the season, something that Kline said he thinks is an advantage.

Casey Cox and Daniel Kline are two reasons why the Buckeyes still find themselves in the hunt for the TVC- Ohio crown. Both were praised for their scoring and ball handling as well as their defense.
Man in the Middle
The Trimble Tomcats find themselves in a race for the TVC-Hocking because of the dominant play of center Noah Guthrie.
We run most of our offense through him and try to work the ball inside and outside
coach Curt Moore said.
Guthrie has been a big factor but the team is also getting results from other players.
Guard/forward Tyler Davis makes big plays, and Charles Kish and Cyrus Jones bolster the defensive effort.
Trimble has a 4-2 record in the conference - good for third place. Moore said that the main reason the conference has been so tough is because of the inconsistencies his team has shown.
Moore says he believes his team can still make an impact.
