Although Election Day isn’t until next week, those who might not be able to make it out to the polls Nov. 5 will still have the opportunity to vote early this week.
Early polling will open at 8 a.m. from Monday until Saturday, with the closing date varying by the day, according to the Athens County Board of Elections.
Early voting will be available until 6 p.m. on Monday, 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon on Saturday.
Voters will also be able to cast their ballots on Monday, Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Regardless of district, those looking to cast an early in-person ballot should show up at Athens County Board of Elections at 15 S. Court Street, Room 130.
Voters will decide on city council members, township trustees, school board members and other local offices in this year’s general election, as well as public tax levies.
Polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday Nov. 5, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
