The 12th annual Walk the Walk for Mental Health Awareness, organized by the Athens' branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and The Gathering Place, took place on Saturday. The event began with a rally by the courthouse, followed with a walk down Court Street, to the Ridges, and on the bike path ending with lunch at Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare.
