To those who decided that dormitories need only be cleaned Monday through Friday (or, to those who deemed weekend housekeeping an unnecessary expense):
I'd like to thank you! - and so would the used tampon I spotted on the tiled floor of Stall Two. He and his distant cousin (used tampon spotted in Shower Stall Three) have made a lovely vacation home out of our not-so-lovely bathroom. Isn't that joyous? Myself and my fellow residents get to shower and stare at someone else's vaginal blood at the same time. Lovely! Not to mention the vast array of puke that occupies at least one or two stalls each weekend. Yes, Puke is also a standard fixture in our bathroom on weekends. It checks in at about 11 p.m. on Friday (occasionally accompanied by a hot date - Diarrhea) and does not leave until late Monday morning. How FABULOUS!
Now, I know what you're thinking and I've thought the same thing many a time: I must live among heathens. However, of the twenty- plus women I share a bathroom with and the many unnamed guests that occupy our bathroom on weekends, it's hard to determine who's a culprit and who's not. Hence, my bathroom will most likely always resemble a national disaster and I will always live in fear of my slippers contracting AIDS.
On behalf of myself and the $1,700 per quarter I spend on this dormitory and the food that may or may not cause these bodily functions, I'd like to pleasantly invite you to use our facilities this weekend and determine, once again, if housekeeping on weekends is a necessary expense. I beg of you - please step into my slippers and stalls.
P.S. Many sibs visited over the weekend and the state of our bathroom will probably cloud their thoughts when they're determining whether or not to attend OU. Just a thought.
