Ohio women's golfer Meredith Waterston shot a 23-over 239 to finish in second place at the Falcon Invitational, which ended play yesterday.
Waterston's finish is the best of her career and the best of any Ohio golfer, men's or women's, this year. She lost to Cincinnati's Hillery Wilson by four strokes.
Kristen Mautz also had the best tournament finish of her career, coming in a tie for eighth with a 250.
Katie Stafford tied for 33rd with a score of 264, Shanna Siefke finished in a 46th-place tie with a 269, Lindsay Bergman had a 275 and Megan Curran shot a 279.
As a team, the Bobcats tied for fifth with Ball State, tallying a score of 1,021.
Ohio's women's team will return to action Saturday and Sunday when it competes at the Lady Buckeyes Spring Invitational in Columbus.
