International Week

part of International Week, will introduce students to study abroad options and relate the experiences of students who have studied abroad in the past, said Lori Lammert, assistant director of the Office of Education Abroad.

Vegemite, a concentrated yeast extract that is commonly spread on crackers and eaten in Australia, is one of the many foods featured in tonight's A Taste of Study Abroad at Grover Center.

I have not found an American who likes (Vegemite) said Lori Lammert, assistant director of the Office of Education Abroad.

A Taste of Study Abroad part of International Week, will introduce students to study abroad options and relate the experiences of students who have studied abroad in the past, Lammert said.

It's kind of linking a sensory experience with a cultural experience

said Molly Micheels, program coordinator for the Office of Education Abroad

The event will provide information about 35 of OU's study abroad programs, including ones in Wales, Mexico and Australia, Micheels said.

Each program will have a food from the country being represented.

It's kind of a time to show off what we do

Lammert said.

For students who can't make the event tonight, the Office of Education Abroad also offers walk-in advising hours Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. in Lindley Hall 18.
